Pipeline maintenance requires periodic pressure testing of lines to locate potential leaks and fissures. The logistics are complex and the projects are always time sensitive. The section of pipeline under examination is shutdown while the necessary equipment and resources are deployed to complete the project. When a natural gas provider needed to perform this type of testing on several miles of gas pipeline, E-Tank was the supplier they called to handle the complex logistics.
Committed to timely service, we marshaled company resources to move 40 rental frac tanks to hold 800,000 gallons of water—meeting the customer’s requirements and enabling the testing to begin as scheduled. Our expertise with this type of work enabled us to design efficient ways to connect all the tanks, allowing for single discharge and input lines. Because E-Tank rents “Certified Clean” tanks, exclusive in the rental industry, the gas provider knew it that only clean water would be pumped form the tanks into the pipeline, removing any concerns about cross-contamination. Expertise in complex logistics and Certified Clean tanks made E-Tank the customer’s choice.
