Pumping Drilling Mud

With our commitment to customer service, we had our pumps on the road within the hour, headed to the customer’s drill site for a dependable, effective solution.

When drilling a new oil or gas well, the “cellar” is a pit in the ground that provides the additional height between the rig floor and the wellhead, allowing for easier installation of control valves. The cellar collects water, drilling mud, and fracking liquids that need to be pumped out. This is done using a pump called a trash pump or mud pump.

Seeking a solution for pumping drilling mud, one of our oil and gas customers called E-Pump to rent pumps and a filter. Requiring the cellar area to be clean and dry so that the cementing process on a well could begin, they asked us to deliver mud pumps and a duplex filter as quickly as possible. With our commitment to customer service, we had our pumps on the road within the hour, headed to the customer’s drill site in for a dependable, effective solution.
