Above and beyond the average salesman’s call of duty, but part and parcel of the customer care that E-Pump provides.
A cofferdam is a temporary enclosure built within a body of water and constructed to allow the enclosed area to be pumped out, creating a dry area for major work to proceed. In this case, a bridge maintenance contractor needed to remove water so they could work on bridge supports below the waterline.
E-Pump was chosen to supply rental pumps to this project, removing water from the cofferdam and sending it back into the river 150 feet downstream. After the contractor assembled the pumping system, it became clear that one of the dry prime pumps wasn’t working as intended. Committed to excellent service, a member of the E-Pump sales team and a technician made an emergency trip to the site, troubleshot the issue, and discovered that the rental pump wasn’t sealing correctly. They diagnosed the problem and removed and repositioned various lengths of hose and fittings to get the pumping system working properly. Above and beyond the average salesman’s call of duty, but part and parcel of the customer care that E-Pump provides.
